    Whenever someone asks me for advice on how to lose weight, I tell them these things: have a balanced meal, never skip breakfast, be physically active, drink lots of water, go to bed early, sleep for at least 7 hours, and be aware of your meal portions.

    Yes, aside from working out and eating healthily, we have to have a portion control on our meal so that we won’t eat more than we want.

    To help you out, here are 10 awesome tips on portion control.

    1: Before Eating, Divide The Plate
    Here’s a simple rule to portion a plate properly: Divide it in half. Automatically fill one side with fruits or vegetables, leaving the rest for equal parts protein and starch. This way, you begin to see what a properly balanced meal looks like. Spaghetti and meatballs? Steak and potatoes? They’re only half a meal, incomplete without fruits and vegetables.
